Abstract
Problem Statement
This project presents a food ordering system that enables users to place orders either manually or through an integrated chatbot assistant. Designed for ease of use and efficiency, the system includes key modules such as Order Management, Product Catalog, Cart, and Checkout. The chatbot assistant enhances the user experience by guiding customers through the ordering process using conversational interaction. The solution aims to streamline food ordering, improve user engagement, and support both traditional and AI-assisted order flows.
Traditional food ordering systems often lack user engagement and efficiency, especially for users who prefer quick, conversational interactions. Many platforms require users to manually navigate menus, which can be time-consuming and overwhelming. There is a need for a user-friendly solution that combines both manual and AI-assisted ordering to enhance accessibility, reduce ordering friction, and streamline the overall customer experience. This project addresses these challenges by developing a food ordering system that integrates a chatbot assistant alongside conventional modules like catalog, cart, and checkout.
