Carbonly is an AI-powered carbon footprint tracker that monitors daily travel, estimates CO₂ emissions, and encourages more sustainable transportation choices.

Domain: AI & Machine Learning

Cohort 1

Problem Statement

Individuals often lack clear information about the environmental impact of their daily travel and transportation choices. Manually tracking journeys and calculating associated CO₂ emissions can be inconvenient, making it difficult to understand personal carbon footprints and adopt sustainable habits. Existing approaches may not provide automatic transport detection or simple, actionable insights into travel-related emissions. There is a need for an accessible solution that automatically tracks travel patterns and provides meaningful carbon footprint information. Carbonly addresses this gap by using AI, sensor data, and user input to detect transport modes, estimate CO₂ emissions, and promote eco-friendly travel decisions.
