Problem Statement
Hearing and speech-impaired individuals often face communication barriers because most people do not understand sign language. This creates difficulties in education, healthcare, workplaces, and everyday interactions, while human interpreters may be unavailable or costly. Existing digital solutions often focus on recognizing isolated or static gestures rather than continuous signs representing words and phrases. There is a need for an accessible, real-time solution capable of understanding dynamic sign language. The proposed system addresses this gap by interpreting continuous gestures and translating them into text and speech, enabling more natural and inclusive communication.
