Nadeem Anjum is a Professor and Head of the Department of Software Engineering at Capital University of Science and Technology, with over two decades of experience spanning academia, research, and industry. He is a senior IEEE member, researcher, and academic leader with a strong focus on artificial intelligence, human activity recognition, trajectory analysis, and anomaly detection.
He has contributed extensively to both academic research and applied computing, publishing 30+ research papers in reputed journals and conferences, and receiving the IEEE AVSS Best Paper Award in 2009. Alongside his academic leadership, he has supervised multiple PhD and MS scholars, actively shaping the next generation of software engineers and researchers.
Previously, he served as Director of Stemma International (Pvt) Limited, where he worked on AI and machine learning–driven solutions, bridging the gap between research and real-world applications. His work consistently integrates industry experience into academic excellence, enabling students and professionals to benefit from practical, future-ready knowledge.
